Goalie mask and more field hockey

In 1927, Elizabeth Graham from queen's university had worn the first ever goalie mask. The mask consisted of a wire fencing mask to protect her face during collegiate games. This trend had gone further and a male name Jacques Plante began to wear a face mask in every single game. Also in 1927, the international federation of Women's field hockey associations is formed to have competition for teams from the U.S, Ireland, Scotland, and England.
